I really want to thank all of you very much for supporting the PolyOrJc.Sg website for the past few months! I appreciate all comments whether if they are constructive or not. It’s because all these comments that you guys wrote will make me a better person at the end of the day. Although there were mean comments but I didn’t really mind them. It is because I’ll reflect on myself, do I really give such impression to people? How am I supposed to change this bad first impression that I leave to people ? What can I do so that in the future, nothing of this sort will happen again. You guys taught me a lot. You are the ones who gave comments and made me feel more love for blogging. You guys are the ones who made me feel noticed. It’s not that I’m an attention-seeker but because I’m very happy that some of you have actually saw my forte that some of my friends will never see. Without your visit to this web, it’ll never be a success! So, you guys deserve a big pat on your back!

To My Fellow Bloggers:

Karen, Shehnaz and Jeramy. You guys have been GREAT. Especially Karen with her informative and super long post. I can never deny her of her passion for blogging and neither can I condemn her of her intellect because she is really smart. Karen will always be one of my friends that I’ll keep for life because she is a person that can be trusted truthfully. I’ll always follow Shenaz’s twitter with my iPhone’s TweetDeck… Shehnaz has this outgoing personality that I feel personally will bring her many opportunities in life that many others may not have. No matter where she heads to, she’ll always be the centre of the limelight (not because she loves the limelight but i have to admit that she does!) and she’ll always bring joy to people around her! Not forgetting my fellow male blogger, Jeramy. I realised that I did not talk much to Jeramy before but he still seems to be a nice guy. Not only is he hot, he knows how to dress up (unlike me). He’ll probably be rated to be one of the best guys who knows how to dress up! I really enjoyed working these period with you guys! I’ll never forget you all!

CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING! HO HO HO!

WAIT

Hohoho sounds like Santa Claus. I have to act like the Fortune God (财神爷）. What sound does the fortune god makes? Hahaha? Hehehe? OR everyone’s favourite material possession, MONEY MONEY MONEY!

For many of you, I guess your biggest relief for CNY is that you’d be collecting red packets(Ang Paos) AND there’ll be holiday!

Do you guys help your parents out on CNY preparations ?

I really wonder how do other people celebrate CNY different from me… Mine was usual.

The Night Before 除夕 will be reunion dinner 团圆饭 and have to stay up the whole night.

Then 初一 which is the first day, will be at home whole day. greet elders and relatives 新年快乐.

It goes the same for second day except in recent years, i’ll visit my friends’ houses.

So, how different have I spent my Chinese New Year from all of you out there?

Okay. I shall have some patience. It’s a few more days before JAE posting results are released. I’m pondering how many of you are excited for the results of your posting and how many of you will be appealing to your desired JC/Poly? Your first choice will probably be something just above your L1R5 or L1R2B2 or L1R4. But I guess for many of you, you are stress-free. You know where you are going because your points are good enough for the cut-off point. When I say good enough, I mean that you probably got 6 points when the JC/Poly you want to go needs 8/9 points to enter. That’s because you probably be in the school if nothing happens.

I won’t be surprised when most taxis on the road are ‘Hired’ because everyone are rushing to their desired JCs/Polys to appeal to their school or course!

I wonder what you guys have been doing since O level ended. I guess some of you would be working, some of you would be taking up a course to further improve yourself and of course, there will be a group that will have everyday of R&R!

Let me think what have I did during the holidays..

1. I’ve revamped my room.

2. I bought my CNY clothes

3. I celebrated Christmas.

4. I played in a concert.

5. I’ve attended a few concerts.

6. I did spring cleaning.

7. I played an old game.

8. I finally watched TV after a few years of deprive TV-hood. (How did I survive without TV??)

9. I reduced my temper!

10. I fell sick.

11. I spent money.

12. I’ve earned money.

13. I travelled the whole of Singapore.

14. I ate at Shokudo, Popeye’s Chicken, Swensens, Billy Bombers and many other restaurants! ( When I talk about food, I get HIGH! and REALLY HIGH!!WOOHOO!)

Let’s end with a 15th one.. Let’s see…

What am I going to do during my holidays… Well, I guess it’s time for me to buck up on my music instrument, learn new things and also do my job as a brother! I’ve not been accompanying my sister much, so I guess I should do it soon! I really wonder what can I still do during this holiday? If I’m going poly, I guess I’ll get a job to do ? But if I’m going JC, then it’ll depend how much time I left and also how much crash-course I need to go through to reduce the gap between me and other students..

What do you guys have in mind on spending your last few days of holidays ?

If I were you, I would choose the first one. Because I want my day to start well, in that case, everyone’s day must start well too! Today I received an SMS from a person which had great impact on my life which writes :

Well, you see, that’s one SMS that can simply make my day. Even though to many of you, it may be the lamest SMS you would ever received but come to think of it, isn’t it funny? Or have the society already made you lost your sense of humor?

Actually to me, Polytechnics are generally the same. The difference are the programs they offer and their culture. Find one that fit you and not one that fits the crowd. It goes the same for JCs.. Do you want to go to a school where you can see your shuaige/chiobu everyday or do you want to go somewhere that you can secure a place in university because you have the right environment to study ?
