In this campaign, I had learnt stuffs outside the book.
I made new friends here and got to see the different views about PolyorJC.
Along the way,
I had done my homework and knew more about the Polytechnics and Junior Colleges.

Before the campaign starts, I knew nothing.
Other than my own research, you readers had also shared with me many information and views.

I had fun experiences with the fellow bloggers too, although we don’t get to meet often.
At first impression when we saw each other, it was awkward.
However we knocked off soon and got along well with each other.
Nice to know you guys!

I did not lose anything in this campaign, instead I gain!

This moment was what I had been waiting for, battle hard to eventually obtaining a place in the School of my choice for further education.
I felt really relieved, and I’m proud of myself for not giving up along the way, even though it was tough and unbearable at times.

For those who did not get into enter their first/desired course, you MUST not despair or feel remorse.
Instead you should try appealing for other courses, or perhaps, although hard, start to try and nurture some interest in the course you’ve been allocated.
In fact this may help you in preparing for school when it starts eventually, and allow yourself to have a basic knowledge about it.

Now, let’s look forward to the new environment and friends that we are going to have! I’ll see you at where I’ll see you!

2010 may be a good year for those who has a zodiac of tiger, but unlikely for Tiger Wood

Talking about preparation, I have not done mine yet.
Usually I will buy a collection of new tops and bottoms for the visits.
I have agreed in helping out my parents to clean and tidy the house.
After that, we will decorate the house to rise the New Year atmosphere.

Besides those, I can’t wait to follow my mum to the super mart.
Those night marts will be operating till late hours,
and I love to help out my mother in purchasing the New Year stocks.

New Year cards are also a form of greeting.
My cousins and I have a traditional habit of sending each other greeting cards.
It is always nice to receive those cards from them.

Now I am missing my relatives badly D:
Therefore dinner reunion is the best time to gather everyone together.

I did nothing much during the holidays, because I’m working at NIE with my buddies.
There weren’t much experiences as the job was too easy to handle.

Working at a place where is filled with up-coming teachers seems to be interesting.
I met different kinds of people there, but ultimately it was a fine job.

Chinese New Year is around the corner,
I took some time to give my room a big clearance and now it looks tidier and bigger than before.
I am all ready and excited to welcome my new lifestyle.
Posting results will be released on the 27th January which is right after my birthday.

If I were to enter a Polytechnic successfully, I would have approximately 3 more months of holidays.
I will not want to waste a single second of it, therefore I keep myself occupied during the period.
What comes into my mind first is attending dancing courses and I need a companion.
Anyone?

Maybe you guys can share with me some interesting things to do

During this period of time, I had approached many people to inquiry about the courses.
I managed to have a clearer view of my future and courses which I chose.
Many of my friends gave me advises and recommendations.
Now I’m ready to face the up-coming challenges in future.
I cannot wait for the new beginning in my life.

This crucial point of time determines your future.
Therefore you should sit down and give a deep thought into it.
For my selection of courses, it took me 3 days to decide.

I went down to open houses and course counseling for more advices.
In order to save the trouble in future,
I tried whatever I can just to know more about the courses.
I called the polytechnic, asked my seniors and friends.
Furthermore, I even went to research about the courses online.
Browsed through the testimonials of the campus students, view the pros and cons of it.

After having a better understanding about it,
I felt secured and determined to enter the selected course.
So make your choices wisely.

Over the holidays, I worked and realized money was hard to earn.
I worked standard office hours from 8am to 5pm daily.

In an air-conditioned room, I did my task and it was plain boring and easy.
It was not challenging to me at all, soon time became slow.
I watched every second tickled off the clock till knock off.

Soon I finished the project within the time assigned and I was pleaded freedom again.
The lesson after the day was precious, and I started to watch my spending.
*Although I just burnt a hole in my pocket for shopping as to reward for myself*

I believed there are different lessons to be learned at different moments in life.
Talking about learning, it seemed sometime since I learned something practical.
Maybe I should attend a driving course soon..

Joint Admissions Exercise Internet System (JAE-IS) opens on 11 Jan 2010 (Mon), the day of the official release of the ‘O’ Level results, starting from 3pm, and closes at 4pm on 15 Jan 2010 (Fri), the last day of registration.
The Applicants under the JAE must not have been enrolled at any of the local polytechnics before.

In order to register online, you have to get the following items ready.

• Form A
• JAE PIN (found in your Form A)
• Completed course application worksheet (found in your Form A).

Applicants will require either a JAE-PIN or a valid SingPass to access the JAE-IS.

The JAE-PIN will be issued to all 2009 ‘O’ level holders who are eligible to participate in the JAE and is stated in your Form A, which you will receive from your secondary school or by post (for private candidates) on the day of announcement of the O’ level results.

If you have completed your Worksheet and logon successfully to the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS),
you should be able to complete your registration within 15 minutes.

Lastly, to ensure other applicants can enjoy speedy and smooth access to JAE-IS,
the system will logoff automatically if there is no activity for 10 minutes.

Soon it was my turn, and I could not stop trembling..
My form teacher said “You did well this time!”.

Immediately I had a sigh of relief and broke down into tears..
I got a L1R4 of 16 and I am proud of my 3As.
I really strive hard and my efforts had paid off.

I would like to thanks for those who showered me care and concerns.
It was you who motivated and helped me along the way.
My family were proud of me, and I’m satisfied to see wide smiles on their faces.
Although it may not be some fantastic results like 9 or 10 pointers.
But I knew I tried my best and I did it.

Now I have to give in some deep thoughts to the courses provided.
The release of JAE results will be on the 27th January,
and the day before is my birthday which is on the 26th.

Therefore I hope my wishes do come true..
